First Year Anniversary of So Many Devotions...So Little Time

Hard to believe that I published my first post one year ago today. It all started with Why A Blog On Catholic Devotions? In that post I stated my intentions for this blog:

With this blog I am hoping to investigate the riches of our Catholic worship traditions. It will not be a scholarly work, but I do plan to research the various devotions and write about what I have explored. I also plan to survey and/or interview my friends about their practices. The librarian part of me wants to use this blog as a pathfinder of sorts...a springboard to lead others to resources on the many rituals and rites of the Catholic faith.

Looking back over the past year, I feel that I have made an attempt to learn about a number of Catholic devotions and practices. The research and writing has been an enjoyable process for me. I see that I haven't surveyed or interviewed friends about their devotional practices. Hopefully I will get around to doing this in the coming months.
